The EUkraineCoop project aims to leverage the potential of telemedicine to address healthcare challenges and stimulate economic development in Ukraine. Through a systematic approach divided into two phases and three work packages, the project seeks to establish stronger collaboration between EU partner regions and Ukraine, ultimately leading to improved health outcomes and economic prosperity.
In the initial phase, the project focuses on understanding the Ukrainian context and addressing identified challenges through a rigorous peer review process. This involves delving into the local landscape and organizing peer review meetings to analyze specific challenges and propose actionable solutions.
By utilizing the expertise of carefully selected peers and engaging local stakeholders, the project aims to provide recommendations and an action plan to effectively tackle identified challenges. Subsequent phases of the project center on building capacity within partner clusters and supporting entrepreneurial activities.
Through intensive capacity-building initiatives, both individual staff members and partner institutions will enhance their skills and competencies, thereby improving service provision quality and strategic development.
Additionally, the project will facilitate the expansion of entrepreneurial activities among cluster members by generating common knowledge, boosting business cooperation, organizing networking events and study visits, and establishing mentoring schemes. With its strategic focus on telemedicine, EUKraineCoop will serve as a catalyst for developing value chain interlinkages between EU and Ukrainian companies.
By integrating telemedicine technologies, the partner clusters will strengthen their technical capabilities, broaden market access, and foster innovation, ultimately leading to enhanced quality and accessibility of healthcare.
